More ABOUT chart work

The term "chart work" comes from nautical navigation, meaning using charts to navigate. We thought this perfectly described our philosophy that you need maps and navigation tools to get to where you want to go efficiently and on the best route.

To that end, we have compiled a comprehensive library of nonprofit documents, mainly focused on fundraising but also covering areas of communication and organizational planning. When you purchase our Library, we will do basic customization on all the documents so you don't need to spend valuable time making them yours. They are all editable, so if you do want to change them, add more organizational information, etc., no problem! The Library is also updated with new templates and refreshed language as needed.

Everyone could benefit from therapy, even nonprofits. It often takes a neutral third party to help see things as they really are, get everyone on the same page, and develop a reasonable plan to adjust course and become the best organization possible. A critical first step on that journey is to determine your baseline and then identify what needs to change to get where you want to go. We provide organizational Fundraising Assessments to help you and your organization gain a comprehensive picture of what you are doing well, and just as importantly, a clear map of how to improve.

Our consulting services will help you build your fundraising capacity. We can provide a clear path forward to reach your fundraising goals. Services include database assessment and transition services; fundraising program support when you have a gap in staffing;  grant research and proposal writing; individual giving and annual fund guidance; donor cultivation, stewardship, and retention strategies; and event planning facilitation.
